Athens is located in the south part of Greece and is the capital and largest city in Greece. For several centuries Athens was the most important city in Ancient Greece. Another famous sight of Athens is the Arch of Hadrian. It was erected in honor of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 131 AD. You can also visit the Temple of Zeus, which is bigger than the Pantheon of the Acropolis. The Benaki Museum is famous for its marvelous collection of the thousand year Greek history.
